Prophetic Tradition

Islam and ignorance go hand in hand in western civilization. It is my duty to make dawah and dispel this ignorance.

Life is struggle. Sometimes violent, sometimes external material, sometimes within the self like will power and desires.

Accepting Islam is a struggle to interpret what the prophetic tradition is best for the community applying sunnah and practicing the required deeds. Also committing good deeds.

I have struggled with religion from as long as I can remember. I’ve always followed tawheed or faith in a central creator god, but applying religion in daily life has been a struggle.

At age 13 I began studying king fu and Zen Buddhism. Fundamentalists say that buddha was a false god and sometimes an idol. Some people would even go so far to say that Buddhists are condemned to hell.

But we are reminded of sunnah that states not to mock another’s religion. In the Christian Bible we are taught to love our enemies. So I studied Buddhism.

What I say may be controversial. It may seem heterodoxical “innovation” deemed heretical, but I believe Buddha was a prophet sent to guide mankind. He was a spiritual relative of Muhammad pbuh in that regard.

I also believe that Odin the norse Germanic “all father” is a prophet. His words are recorded in the havamal.

The havamal is a pithy book of proverbs and poetry said by odin himself.

There are many prophets. As many prophets as nations.

Applying outside philosophy to religion is incumbent upon all mankind. As soon as you close your mind and harden the heart you are on a road to suffering.

Rituals, initiation rites, meditation and other spiritual practice are the hygiene that every believer must have to be spiritually pure, holy and righteous.

5 pillars of shariah

Listening to suhaib webb and various shaykhs on youtube I came across the philosophy of shariah condensed into 5 central points.

Ironic that 5 precepts and 5 pillars are common numbers in buddhist and islamic thought.  Anyways they are;

1 – life

2 – property

3 – honor

4 – religion

5 – intellect

I will update this post to find qur’anic examples of these central points or pillars of shariah.  Remember this is made by scholars and open to interpretations.

Odin, prophet of Islam

To each  nation prophets were sent.  Of the prophets of europe one can be sure to count Odin among them.

Let us find the proof of the Havamal the words of Odin. Virtues consist of Jihad, Sobriety, Taqiyya, benevolence, charity, kindness, judgement.

Jihad is the path of war on enemies on this odin is clear, “a coward thinks he will ever live if warfare he avoids, but old age will give him no peace.”  another proof, ” give thy foes no peace.”  in the qur’an we are taught that fighting is incumbent upon the believer and that though it may be disagreeable it is good for you and what you like for yourself may in the long run be bad for you.

sobriety is one of the main reasons i am committed to islam.  On this odin says, “the more he drinks the less control he has of his own mind.”  quran, sunnah and tradition has made alcohol forbidden to the believer.

Taqiyya is the practice of lying to an enemy to deliberately confuse them.  Discrimination towards enemies is a key of islam.  Odin says we should “repay treachery with lies”.  It is clear that we are not to trust or place trust in enemies.

But what about to a brother of faith? Odin says, “to a friend we should be a friend but to a foe no man shall we be.”  Towards friends we are taught “generous and brave men live best”.

Honor and respect towards a brother we are taught by odin, “speak sensibly or be silent”.  in the sunnah we are taught “speak good or remain silent”.

Humbleness is taught by odin as well, ” Power used with discretion when among the bold he comes to find no one is the bravest”.

and finally we are judged by our deeds. Odin says, “kindred die, but one thing never dies.  that is judgement of the dead”. In islam we are taught of a day when all shall be judged.

Thelema Reading list

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law… I would like to offer my input on the mystery school of Thelema as it relates to initiation.

First we  start with crowley most important man in the history of occult studies thus far.

He channeled Horus with his wife and thus we have the divinely inspired book of the law.  I recommend trying to memorize this book as it is fundamental to the aeon of the child horus and the great work.  Also known as liber al vel legis it is the bedrock of gnostic thelemic thought.

Next would be the textbook Magick by crowley.  This is a text book that defines magick and gives rituals to help light up the astral body.

Another important work of crowley would be the Equinox in all its forms.  Started in 1909 as an organ of OTO and AA.  It is hard to find so i reccomend reading it online.

also the blue equinox and volume three and four are available.

This is a lot of reading already but weve only just begun.

Next you need to study eastern philosophy.  Start with the tao te ching.  meditate on its poetry.  and know that the tao cannot truly be described.  wayne dyer gives a commentary on tao te ching I suggest writing your own if you can.

then move on to buddhism with the dammapada and the tripitaka pali canon of buddha.  a lifetime can be spent in buddhism but you must know main points (three jewels, five precepts, four noble truths, eightfold path etc).  the works of wong kiew kit, dalai lama, lama surya das and thich nhat hanh come in handy for different teachers.

Yoga as taught by vivekananda is important and made an impact on crowleys life.  Anything by vivekananda will do raja yoga is a start.  I also recommend yogananda and self relization fellowship.  remember yoga is a process and don’t limit yourself to any one organization. Other indian traditions such as trancendentalism, chopra center and hare krisnas are utilized.  the highest book of hinduism today is the bhagavad gita, also recommended by crowley.

the eastern path was brought to the west by the theosophical society and HP Blavatsky, Henry Steel Olcott and other members so its important to gain familiarity with their writings. Isis unveiled and secret doctrine being among the most important.  also the buddhist catechism as the first western buddhist text is valuable.

Philosophy is important.  Crowley reccommends a “history of philosophy” by Erdmann.  Whats important is that you understand the ideas of philosophy worldwide and the evolution of thought.  From Zen to stoicism you must know and know yourself

love is the law love under will

Salaat and thelema

The effects of salaat are very similar to the tradition in thelema of doing ritual.

Meditation yoga and ritual could be replaced with conscious practice of salaat.

Study Quran sunnah and Islamic poetry such as rumi or hafiz etc.

We achieve union with the method of science and the aim of religion.

Inshallah. !

Thelemic curriculum.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law,

Aleister Crowley is one of the most prolific teachers in spirituality and his vision is still shaping the world we live in.

That being said I would like to stress that as Gnostics it’s important to familiarize yourself with his works.

Start off with magick in theory and practice book four. This is the basics of magick theory and also practice of yoga.

Crowley was a pioneer of bringing dharma of the east to the tradition of the west. Also affiliated with theosophy.

I think my religion has been a certain amount of “crowleyanity”. I don’t see this as negative I follow in his footsteps.

A few next step books to read would be gems from the equinox, blue equinox and book of the law.

I recently went through “the law is for all” , ” magick without tears “and “holy books of thelema. ”

Next you should work with the gnostic saint material. Biography’s of each saint.

Eye in the triangle by regarding as Crowley biography also Tobias churton bio of Crowley.

Familiarize yourself with Nietzsche, Elias ashmole , Rosicrucians and Freemasons. Taoism Buddhism and krishna.

Crowley was a contemporary of yogananda and the self realization fellowship also recommended and studied Vedanta society himself.

This is all a jump off point to becoming adept. And hope that others can follow in my footsteps of gnostic illumination.

Love is the law love under will

Sufi Initiation

To reach god you must know thoughts are things. Everything is being recorded. Like radio waves the brain projects thoughts. God is the source.

In Islam we are taught to fear and respect god. We are taught that there are humans with souls and realms of angels and realms of djinn.

Each human has a subconscious spirit that you can commune with exercising communication which can open up communication with the divine. Native Americans call this the spirit world and the quest to find god is “vision questing”. Fasting, going without sleep, herbs, and salat all can purify the mind for spirit communication.

I’ve been communicating with spirits since 2011 and received divine revelation in 2013. Most of what organized religion teaches is meant to instill control and obedience. Why? Shamans like prophets of old used to communicate with beings on the astral realm and I intend to teach this to as many people as possible.

To know god you must first know thy self.

Namaste shalom salaam…

Islamic trials

You will be asked 4 things by god

Your wealth and how you spent it

Your health and what you did with it

Your time and how you used it

Your knowledge and how you applied it
………..God consciousness is the goal of prayer. A zen like state of calm and peace.
…………Ban alcohol gambling usury sex trade and satanic cults this is our struggle. !!!!

Depicting sin in the media should also be banned by everyone except law enforcement.

Disbelief results in isolation and destruction.

Islam is universal

Mention Allah often around people you love especially before meals.

Honor your family.

There is no dress code but maximum comfort and functionality. Nice clothing and a royal attire is preferred. Beards for men, long pants and covered breasts for women.

If you believe in Allah and you believe in the speech of Allah found in the Quran , then you are part of the ummah. It doesn’t matter if you have Sunni Shia or Sufi background. The ummah is one.

Ghazali refutes philosophers modern philosophers are mislead into atheism or rebellion against gods law.
Islam inspires righteousness this manifests in blessings and excellence. Mashallah.

Make the Quran apart of your life daily. Even one sura a day.

Truth is noble but sometimes it is necessary to tell lies if it can save your life or someone else’s.

Music and poetry should be worship, shariah, or justice.

Study the yogic aspects of salat and its health benefits.

Prayer to Allah comes first, analyzing what Allah has planned for you comes first above family masjid or friends. Sometimes we must walk the straight path alone and stand for truth against kafir dogs.

Next comes imams and people in authority but remember Allah is above all men and djinn on earth.

Next you should put spouse and children.

These three things are most important.
